Our web policies
Pricing Information:
All of our prices include personalization and decoration, except where indicated.

Design/Painting Information:
Many of our items are hand painted. Design coverage and style may vary according to the size and shape of the item being decorated. We do not use stencils. Therefore, each item will be painted a little differently. Our designs are only meant to give a general overview of our motifs and are not comprehensive. Thus, there may be additional elements added to the design on larger items that allow for more painting, such as toy chests and table sets. Conversely, not every element of a design may appear on smaller items that have less amount of space for the artwork, such as piggy banks and jewelry boxes.

Please note that all colors may show slight variation depending on the item being decorated and how the paint adheres to its surface. Because most items are hand painted, the design may eventually show wear. This is normal and to be expected. Therefore, we cannot guarantee against this normal wear and tear. However, we do coat the surface of items that are intended for sitting or stepping (i.e. wooden rocking chairs and stepstools) with clear acrylic polyurethane. We recommend occasionally recoating your item with such a sealant in order to best preserve the hand painted design. Please call us and we will be happy to inform you about this in further detail.

Custom Painting/Special Requests:
If you would like us to match a specific design not featured on our design page, we will be happy to do so. However, we will need a picture of the design. Please call us and we can discuss your order in further detail. Additional charges will apply.

Names:
Please double check all spellings of names before you place your order. Many names may be spelled a few different ways such as Kira, Kyra or Ciera. Personalized Gift Stop cannot be held responsible for names that customers misspell.

Product Information:
All dimensions listed in product descriptions are approximations. The approximate shipping time listed in the product descriptions means the time it takes us to make your item for you and get it out the door. It does not include the time it takes for the item to reach you or your gift recipient once it is in transit.

Return Policy:
Due to the custom nature of each order, personalized items cannot be returned. All other items may be returned within 30 days of purchase with store receipt. Shipping is to be prepaid by the customer and store credit will be issued upon return. Merchandise purchased on sale may not be returned even if it is not personalized.

Payment Options:
Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover Card.

Shipping:
We ship by FedEx Ground. Please note that FedEx Ground will not deliver to a PO Box. The approximate shipping time listed in our product descriptions does not include FedEx Ground delivery time, which varies, depending on the destination but typically ranges from 3 - 5 business days. If you require faster delivery, please call us and we will be able to arrange for an alternate delivery method. Additional charges will apply.

In most cases, our merchandise ships fully assembled. If this is not the case, we indicate that "this item ships unassembled" in the product description. If you would like one of our items that we normally ship unassembled to ship assembled, please call us, and we will be happy to do so. Additional shipping charges will apply.

We wrap all items shipped assembled with cellophane and curling ribbon. Items shipped unassembled, or flat, will be wrapped to protect your gift (i.e. with bubble wrap). All items will include an attached gift card with your personal message. If an item arrives damaged, please notify us within three business days. You must save the original shipping carton in order for us to be able to replace your item and file a claim with the shipping company.
